Date 37 - Mr. DJ II
The Scene: My loft on the virtual screen.
The Attire: Black zip-up bodysuit, black meditation pant (a favorite purchase from a trip to Thailand) and a long flowing duster.
The Meeting: We have been communicating for several months. Our respective schedules and my international travel created a wedge in our physical ability to connect.
The Environment: A virtual date due to COVID-19 and the introduction of social distancing.
Safe is how I feel each and every time I speak with Mr. DJ.
I would describe him as a grounded spirit who has a heart for God and a strong sense of awareness. I like him, I respect him, and I enjoy getting to know him. We have communicated consistently since we met. We are learning how each person likes to communicate. For example, I told him, "If you say you are going to call me back, please do so or don't say it." This is when I cover myself in that New York flavor; your word is bond, remember that.
I expressed my heart to him, and he actively seeks to better express and connect. That is quintessentially everything lovely!
I delight in the opportunity to get to know him and look forward to our next …
Note to Self: Life is short; share your heart.
Shout Out to Men: Be authentic; it will take you far.
Question: How long do you need to know someone to feel connected and to create trust?
